I always say, Sean.... 'two sides of the same coin'... comparing the lies
of side A (Clinton) to side B (Bush), Billy boy was pretty damned
tolerable.

We watched Clinton closely, along with Greenspan and Robert Ruben
(Clinton's treasury secretary). We watched Greenspan inform Clinton
that federal revenues badly needed to be increased & Ruben complied.

Greenspan informed Clinton that Papa Bush had lied about the size of
the debt and the size of revenues, so all 3 decided to increase taxes and
balance the budget. Fiscal responsibility for the 1st time in 20 years !!

Newt Gringridge, Bob Dole, Dick Armey, etc., were all over the TV
(especially on Sunday mornings). They insisted that the Clinton tax
increases would collapse the American economy.... They were lying.

We watched them demonize Clinton, attack him, frame him and then
finally impeach him - - ALL THE WHILE, THE ECONOMY SOARED.
