Bush's "New" Iraq Policy
As the US Military is bogged down in a war without end, and Civil War
abounds in Iraq. The November Elections are being snubbed by an arrogant
President, hell bent to bring this war into a success.
Mr. Bush and his Administration sold America a war based on lies. A war
for
profit for his Cor****ate Cronies. Almost 1 million people are now dead,
and
a good ****tion of the US Military. Though we've seen a "changing of the
guard," as far as Rumsfeld going and Gates coming, the President is intent
on his Policy. What is his policy? What is the reason for it?
If you remember back when H.W. was in Office, he sent up red flags about a
"New World Order." W Bush, riding the coat tails of the Evangelical Vote
is
building his Daddy's New World Order. Why?
Psychologically, it is W attempting to make his Daddy proud. W has had a
long career of being a failure. He went Awol for the Vietnam War. He
couldnt make his oil venture, Arbusto Oil work. He failed at even owning
a
baseball team. Clearly what a burden of guilt W carries with him.
What is also very clear is Iraq is going to be another W failure. But
wait:
Let's watch W do some magic. Digging into his Daddy's old Administration,
he'll bring on people from that Administration to placate the American
Public, while in essence not changing his policy at all.
So, I'd like to dub this the "Chicken Chit Policy." While W lied us into
this war, and we have no legal right to be in Iraq. While the blood of
millions is on his hands, and Evangelical hands, and while America's
credibility in the world has plummetted to zero, Bush is very intent on
succeeding in Iraq.
Yea, if he don't make his Daddy proud of him this time, he may not get
another chance. So, while it looks like we've had this big changing of
the
guard, and a Public Mandate to leave Iraq, the truth is, they will shuffle
around a few faces and try to make Chicken Salad out of Chicken Chit.
And this is Bush's new policy, which is really still stay the course,
while
actually saying stay the course is now anathema.
