WHAT "Reconquista"? Top U.S. historian: Only 7k "Mexicans" in California as recently as the mid-19th century!

by guybannister58@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (George Washington Admirer) Dec 13, 2007 at 04:48 AM

From "The Unfinished Nation: A Concise History of the American People" (4th
Edition, 2004), a popular textbook across the USA by by Professor Alan
Brinkley of Columbia University:

"In the 1820s, the Mexican government had invited
American traders into the region [New Mexico and
Texas], hoping to speed development of the
       province."

Notice that the Mexican government invited *Americans*, NOT *Mexicans*,
to
the region as a way to spur development!

"Americans were also increasing their interest in
California. In this vast region lived members of
several western Indian tribes AND PERHAPS 7,000
       MEXICANS."

"Perhaps 7,000 Mexicans"! So much for "reconquista"!

One cannot "re-conquer" that which one never conquered in the first
place.

Let the Truth go forth: The fact is that the U.S. Southwest was NEVER,
EVER
part of "Mexico" or the mythical "Aztlan" (the fact that "Aztlan" is a
myth
doesn't prevent La Raza types from preaching the romantic fiction it as
actually being true, much as Hitlerian theory preached an equally mythical
and
romantic "Nordic" super-race fairytale.

The REALITY, for those interested in the Truth (which should be all
Americans, since their country is being invaded by hordes of Mexicans who
genuinely believe the La Raza fascists' false history) is that neither the
U.S. Southwest nor West nor Far North were EVER part of pre-Columbian
"Mexico".

While it's true that Imperial Spain (as opposed to "Mexico" per se)
amusingly claimed all the territory *UP* *TO* *A-L-A-S-K-A* itself, the
reality is that Spain never colonized, controlled or otherwise "owned" the
region whatsoever.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY AND WHAT HE BELIEVES, PEOPLE!

I was born and raised far from the U.S. Southwest (in NYC) and arrived
in
the region very, very naive about the ugly realities I'd soon enough
observe.
I THOUGHT I was going to find patriotic Americans of Mexican heritage.
What I
ACTUALLY found was a perplexed, intimidated small minority of such
patriotic
Americans of Mexican heritage (think Ramos and Compeon) being overwhelmed
SWARMS of shockingly violent, law-flouting 100% through-and-through
MEXICANS
who have ZERO interest in American history, culture, values, laws or way
of
life.

And, not surprisingly, we see, with every taken-down (and sometimes
stomped)
U.S. flag replaced with the flag of Mexico -- a simple Google search
should
bring up a slew of photos of such incidents, many of which took place at
U.S.
middle and high schools two years ago -- that they've indoctrinated their
deeply chauvenistic, anti-American (even, I daresay, *xenophobic*) beliefs
down to their anchor babies, most of whom have been living it up in the
USA on
the American taxpayer's dole one way or another literally since birth.

Bottom line: THE MILLIONS OF MEXICANS ALREADY RESIDENT IN OUR COUNTRY
AFTER
HAVING SNUCK IN, AND THOSE ADDITIONAL THOUSANDS WHO DAILY FOLLOW THEM, ARE
NOT
AMERICANS' FRIENDS!

Rather, they are, literally, ***INVADERS*** in every sense of the word
and
must begin to be widely viewed and treated as such!

SO WAKE THE H*LL UP AND SMELL THE INVASION ALREADY!

Remember: as a U.S. diplomat himself reveals, up to this very day Mexico
indoctrinates its smallest children with the FALSE HISTORY which is the
only
thing that sup****ts the myth of "Aztlan":

Mexicans migrate to 'their land'
By Lee Benson
Deseret Morning News
April 19, 2006
Native Utahn David Timmins makes it clear up front that he has no
personal
issue with Mexico or the Mexican people. During a well-traveled career as
a
U.S. foreign service officer, he lived for a time in Mexico and says he
enjoyed his posting there immensely.
But in light of the current consternation over immigration, the
Harvard-educated diplomat thinks it's applicable to the debate to bring up
something he learned while he lived south of the border.
"Mexicans see the Western U.S. as part of Mexico that was stolen from
them
150 years ago," he says. "They believe this with all their heart."
It's his view that the thousands flooding across the border every month
don't see themselves illegally immigrating into a foreign land.
 They see themselves coming home.
  And we're the illegals.
"I lived in Mexico 20 years ago," says Timmins, referring to his days as
an
embassy worker in Hermosillo in the late 1980s, "and during that time I
re****ted without much attention being paid in Wa****ngton on the evolving
Mexican government policy of passively promoting illegal immigration as
part
of a deliberate and long-range strategy to regain control of the border
and
mountain states it lost during the Mexican War of 1847-48."
Timmins points to a specific incident he remembers that pounded home to
him
the reality of what he is saying:
"I was visiting the Museum of National History in Mexico City where I
observed a class of perhaps 40 10-year-old school kids sitting on the
ground
in front of a huge mosaic map that was labeled 'Mexico Integral,' or
'Greater
Mexico.' Their teacher expounded on how the Norteamericanos stole half of
Mexico in 1847. The map showed Mexico to include Texas, Oklahoma,
Colorado,
New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, most of Idaho, and Oregon
and
Wa****ngton up to the Alaska panhandle."
Timmins explains that, in addition to what the United States gained in
1847,
Mexico also believes part of the territory sold to America by France in
the
Louisiana Purchase of 1803 actually belonged to Spain, which by extension
means Mexico.
"They (Mexicans) think we bought a disputed title," he says. "But
luckily
for us, (Thomas) Jefferson moved fast."
Add up all this history, Timmins says, and it explains "why every
Mexican
president, up to and including Vicente Fox, thinks his citizens are simply
navigating to land that is historically their entitlement

"If the representatives of the people betray their constituents,

"Unfortunately, the majority of illegal aliens who are here
are engaged in criminal activity. Identity theft, use of
fraudulent social security numbers and green cards, tax
evasion, driving without licenses represent some of the
crimes that are engaged in by the majority of illegal aliens
on a daily basis merely to maintain and hide their illegal
status. In addition, violent crime and drug distribution and
possession is also prevalent among illegal aliens. Over 25%
of today's federal prison population are illegal aliens. In some
areas of the country, 12% of felonies, 25% of burglaries and
34% of thefts are committed by illegal aliens."
