I think our Founding Fathers cared about justice and peace.
Our current leaders appear to be in violation of the U.N. Charter, hence
the 
U.S Constitution, hence their oath of office (just for starters).
Nor, it seems to me, would our Founding Fathers have been so blinded by 
simplistic dichotomies that they would have found the behavior of our 
current leaders acceptable.
