Bacon Water Chestnuts

Bacon Water Chestnuts

Wrap 2 pkg. (2.1 oz each) Oscar Mayer Ready to Serve Bacon around 2
cans
(8 oz. ea) whole water chestnuts, drained; secure with toothpicks.
Place
in 12x8 in. baking dish. (Cover and refrigerate extra chestnuts and
use
them in a salad or stir fry.)

Mix 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar and 1/2 cup
chili sauce; pour over water chestnuts.

Bake at 350 F degrees for 30 minutes or until bacon begins to brown
and
sauce is bubbly. Make 15 servings, 2 pcs. each.

Note: I used regular bacon and cook it partially done, cut in half
each
piece and use that to wrap chestnuts. It's cheaper than the ready to
serve type.

Hope you enjoy this appetizer.
