you seem entirely unaware that the uk's forrin holding expanded
     greatly during the thatcher years....
further the pension funds and individuals buy interest in companies
     from around the world...

despite the utter idiocy of the tax and spend run by bliar and the
     clown, britain still has several world class cor****ations

the deregulation which the socialists have (this time and so far)
     feared to screw up, means that the city is still a major source
     of uk income and inward investment...
