I can't think of a more AMERICAN operation than for
candidates to step into the ring and take the

They are politicians. Why should they get a free ride
like the annointed GOP candidates who must follow a
line of succession (usually) while marching LOCK-STEP
to "tax cuts for the wealth class", "hands off
business", "states rights" (to reverse Brown v Board),
and a dozen or so things that Dobson and the Religous
Reich DEMAND ( and get) from candidates before they can
run.
