He could have jumped the guy anyway, instead of saying he'd call the 
police.  Or even in an anarcho-communist society, the guy could have 
shot him anyway.  That's hardly a good argument.

But I'm puzzled--he borrowed money to start the bazaar as a "public 
service"?  Does that mean it's not profitable?  ANY business is a 
"public service" if enough people buy from them to keep the business in 
business. And if the bazaar is profitable, then the guy and his sister 
should be able to keep running the business and pay off the loan.

As an anarcho-capitalist, I'm not exactly arguing for the status quo, 
but this story doesn't really illustrate what's wrong with current
society.
