It is also interesting that you chose the Navy in the midst of a land
war. Some might see a reluctance to personally carry a rifle in such

GWB had the luxury of going home every night without the need of armed
guards. He could put on his civies at the end of the day and head
into downtown Houston and get drunk and coked up and laid and tell all
the ladies and his good ol' boy buddies that he was fighter pilot
*yeeeeehaaaaaw*. And you know what? I bet there wasn't a single VC
in Houston waiting for the op****tunity to put a bullet in Bush's tiny
little brain.
At least Al Gore was in Vietnam. He wasn't a front-line soldier, but
then a lot of the folks that went to Vietnam weren't front line.
