LIBERAL NEED NOT APPLY

UC is now opening soliciting for a conservative professor.

What a hoot.... so does this mean the left has been lying for years that 
American Campuses are not bastion hide-a-ways for liberal lunatics who are

trying to indoctrinate American youth.

And while on the face of it, this notion of hiring a conservative
professor 
sounds like another do-good gesture at job diversity, the elephant in the 
room is being ignored. No, it's not job discrimination for all you linear 
thinking liberals.

It's the fact that job preference for political bias (notably liberals up
to 
this point) is a trait (qualification) in the first place. Political bias,

on college campuses, should be regarded as an opinion editorial in 
journalism. There should be NO political indoctrination in the first
place, 
and any time a teacher mentors political bias, they should be adult enough

to preface their remarks as "Political Commentary" just as is supposedly 
required of journalist. That too is another venue liberals have been 
ignoring for years since the main stream press is overwhelmingly liberal.

The University of Colorado is considering a $9 million program to bring 
high-profile political conservatives to teach on the left-leaning campus.

Critics say it's an idea whose time should never come.

CU officials want to create an endowment for a Visiting Chair in 
Conservative Thought and Policy.

The program would bring a rotating cast of scholars, historians,
politicians 
and media personalities to a town often ridiculed by the political right
as 
"the People's Republic of Boulder."

The first scholar could be on campus next year for a one- or two-year
stint, 
CU spokesman Bronson Hilliard said. University officials said they hope
the 
fund would yield the $200,000-plus per year necessary to provide a stipend

and a staff person.

"A good campus is always trying to find ways to add diversity of thought
and 
scholar****p," Hilliard said.
