I'll tell you something NONE of my friends know about
me.
I had amblyopia (whatever) when I was little, and had
to wear a stupid eye patch, and really ugly cat-eye
glases. (the frames were white with sparkles. GAWD I
hated those things.)
I'm 20/20 only in my right eye, probably 20/40 in my
left. Sometimes when I play with my left eye, so to
speak, I can't see adequately to do anything out of it
alone . . . it would scare me if I were ever to lose
my right eye. I couldn't drive, could barely walk.
Because I wouldn't be able to see enough to keep on
track.
I also have wondered what I could stand to lose most,
eyes or hands. It's a tough call with me.
