dag, this was all supposed to be one msg.
One day I'll learn how to use a computer.
Anyway,
The Yups Go Nuts
Okay, forgive me, but so many affluent trade in their
brain when they rise and trade in poverty or middle
class for their higher standards of living.
These IDIOTS in northern Atlanta were pouting and
protesting because their builder apparently ded not
finish the subdivision AND he began including
"cheaper, vynle sided homes". Further, he didn't
build the pool, tennis courts, and clubhouse "they say
were supposed to be complete by now."
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, poor friggin yups, ya didn't get
your chlorinated water for your children to pee in
come summer.
Anyway, About 20 of 33 houses put out for sale
signs, just to get the builder's attn.
They're doubly pissed because:
the developer apparently passed on the full cost
of extra facilities to the homebuyers. (haha!) The
first time homebuyers are having to cough up the
annual homeowner dues they refused to pay at first.
$150 for the clubhouse, for example.
Some have liens on their homes.
Anyway, the For Sale signs were working a bit. The
builder's president hand delivered a letter promising
the pool and tennis courts would start and be done in
6 months, and the $485 in homeowners' dues would be
refunded.
"But the olive brance looked hollow . . . the letter
made no mention of 30 lots the ... developer had
already sold off to another builder," or the 30 up for
sale elsewhere also.
Poor yups were disturbed over rumours that $140,000
vinyl-sided houses were going to join the
brick&hardwood houses valued at $200,000. (hmm,
that's a whole $60,000 difference. Must be SOME
vinyl!)
"The residents want the builders to use their covenant
power to ban the cheaper building material."
"We want to know what kind of homes are
coming....we're determined to get answers."
(poor yups, they might have to look at vinyl. THIS IS
A PROBLEM???? GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK, THERE IS
SOMETHING IN ALL OF THIS MATERIALISTIC, ARROGANT
BULLCRAP THAT i JUST DO NOT GET.)
If this is the fine side of life I can expect by
becoming affluent, I could care less. I mean, yeah,
yeah, they paid some money for whatever, but what is
it that people get themselves some property and a
house and then want to lord all over what's in the
immediate vicinity, so long as it's not dangerous,
threatening, or harmful.
Bet they could careless that they're in the path of
ongoing nuclear waste transports.
Funny, on the very next page was a story about the lack
of sprinkler requirements in area apartments.
Now THOSE people have something to go to war about.
Stay tuned for the latest entry in my Book Club.
