For some odd reason, American political stuff makes it to can.politics,
which
is Canadian. I suspect that people intend to post it to ca.politics,
which
is California.
Aside, American politics is followed by Canadians.
Last week I was in Boston, discussing your politics with a guy from
Wisconsin. I just got back from South Carolina today.
Sometimes (through these newsgroups) I know more than the Americans!
The old adage is "know your enemy".
Americans know ****-all about Canada, but I know a lot more!
I know how Americans are fantastic people, I also know how they don't "get
us".
My opinion of Americans?
They're proud of what they have, and it's a good thing.
When I'm with Americans? Politics are never discussed.
Just cultural things in comparison.
I suppose that is what you do when you meet a cousin.
