I can't fight this battle alone any longer, their are to many of
them and not enough of me. People need to stand up, get out of
their easy chairs and comfortable living modes and face the problems
that our laxness and laziness have created. We are responsible for
this mess, and WE are going to make it RIGHT or more innocent people
will suffer.

The government has borrowed money to finance death and destruction,
it can do the same to invest in people instead of being the instrument
of their deaths.

These people are only a minority when compared with us, thats why we
are referred to as the "m*****". Our representatives like money, I
have no doubts about that truth, but they also know that if enough
discontent americans speak to them and at them, and they fail to heed
those voices, they will not much longer be representing us, then all
the money they could be collecting will no longer be seeking them out,
so yes, I don't "think" we can get their attention...I KNOW WE CAN !
A whore is still basically one thing in anyones language, a whore ! We
just make their greedy nature work for us IF they want to keep in the
money. A whore is still a whore, and they will, always want more. This
is what you get for electing people that like large paychecks. I grant
you, the anology is to simplified, but service and loyalty have to
come from love of people, not love of profit.....we are electing
the wrong kinds of people to public office.
>

I do. It's time for the lazy american people to get off their
collective butts and clean up the trash !
> I do know how to help individuals one on one if I can be
> in their presence on a frequent basis. Feeding the poor is not the

Granted, it isn't a permanent solution but it's the natural
place to start. When God fed the hebrews in the desert, He
sent them food in the form of manna, he didn't tell them that
food wouldn't be good for them at this time, and that later on
down the road He would create a rifle for them to hunt with.
A lot of good that will do when you are dead from starvation !
> Giving money to the needy is not the
> solution to the problem.
Trying to persuade employers to hire someone that hasn't had a shower
or a change of clothes in three weeks doesn't go over well either, but
when you and I take personal responsibility for these people and give
then the tools they need to survive on their own the story turns out
much different. This lady needed a safe place to sleep, food to eat,
medicine, clothes, and access to a telephone. Now that she has access
to these basic things she now has two job offers, which she would not
have should she still be in rags.
I am not convinced that giving people the basic things they need will
not make a difference in their lives, even if only one person in five
million blossoms as this lady has, we are that much better off for
footing the cost of the other 4, 999,999.
It's corrupt human nature to not want to help their your own kind
and other kinds to survive. We as humans have a unique responsibility
to life, the alternative isn't pleasant.
> Giving medical care to the sick is not the

It has to come from us, the people. We ARE the government, not the
whores, stooges & thugs that we elected to do our work for us ! It's
high PAST time to remove the trash from D.C.. and the state capitols,
and at least 3/4 of us MUST participate to make it a reality.

We have spent nearly 325 Billion dollars on the war in Iraq with
Haliburton being the only one to profit from the action. One would
think that if one is being paid to rebuild roads, schools, hospitals,
public buildings and bridges, then one would be doing that instead of
rebuilding oil pipelines to carry cheap Iraqi oil, which has been
producing 25 cent per gallon gasoline in Iraq, to the perian gulf to
be loaded onto Saudi tankers and processed into 4 dollar per gallon
gasoline stateside.
You can't tell me that 325 billion dollars wouldn't have done more
in the work to clear up problems then it would to create profits
for Haliburton and it's stockholders and employees !
You and I, "WE" are responsible for this mess, and it's "WE" thats
going to have to clean it UP !

If I have learned anything from God it will be this; there is a time
and purpose for everything, and right now it's time to clean house
of the corruption that threatens to drag us down with it. Cancer
doesn't go away on it's own, and these problems won't eva****ate on
their own either, in spite of wishful thinking.

What is God's way, really ? Does it consist of turning a blind eye to
corruption, or does it include allowing an old woman to go hungry and
exposed to cruelties without number ?
Perhaps God's people should actually get off their ***** and BE God's
people instead of manufacturing reasons why things can't get done !

God made US responsible for US. When you tell your child to clean
