Interesting response. Let's remember a few things:
1) Just the amount spend during four days of war on Iraq could suffice
to avert the food crisis.
2) The very first decision by Bush on international policy was to cut
funding to parental planning clinics in the third world, because they
did not advocate abstinence.
3) Your response iw one more proof that some people would find any
excuse to oppose an increase in taxes if they go to help the poor, but
if you tell them it is going to be spent on the military, they do not
mind at all.
