And apparently you're not good at them.  You keep losing your place
and contradicting yourself without realizing it until it's pointed out
to you.

Sorry, that won't fly.  Nobody is getting a rebate except taxpayers
and in that the GOP and President Bush are in full agreement.

FWIW, they all looked rather grim during the announcement.  I suspect
they were worried about the public response and they were right.  Not
that we won't cash the checks, but the public is fully aware that the
effect is going to be barely discernable even as this band aid makes
the problem worse.  The Congress will gain no points even when the
checks are received by the taxpayers.
