North Dakota has hardly any people, but it has enough to sup****t a "gay,
lesbian, bi***ual and transgender community," re****ts the Fargo Forum.
Said
community is kicking off the "Fargo-Moorehead Pride Week" tomorrow:
Pride Week has enjoyed growing acceptance every year since
the first one was held eight years ago, said Stacie Loegering,
board president of the Pride Collective and Community Center,
which sponsors Pride Week.
But, Loegering added, "I think there is still a long ways to
go. There are still a lot of people who judge GLBT people on
stereotypes."
The week holds many choices for those looking for something to
do, Loegering said.
"We're trying to include all ages at a number of events. So,
if a GLBT person is a parent, they can feel comfortable
bringing their children," she said.
Major events during Pride Week include a drag competition.
And there's nothing like taking your kid to a drag competition to disabuse
him of any stereotypes he may hold about GLBT people.

It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.
