Not really. Summer in SF means the same damn weather forcast every day
for four months: "Early morning clouds and fog, clearing inland, highs
in the 60s and the beachs, 80s and 90s inland. In the evening, fog
returning with the after winds, overnight lows in 50s."

When I was a kid the weatherman for one station took a sabbatical.
Rather than hire a replacement, they let anyone do the weather. We had
rock bands, multiple languages, a mime... it didn't matter because
nothing ever changes!

Hot weather tends to come in late spring and early in the fall.
Traditionally, the hottest weekend of the year in San Francisco is the
weekend of the Folsom Leather Fair.
