I suppose that is your letter?  You have missed the point of the Mexican 
flag issue.  It sends mixed signals when Mexicans who want to stay
illegally 
in the US, display the Mexican flag during protests.  The implication is 
that they want all the benefits of the US, but don't want to actually be 
part of it.  It is an open declaration that they do not intend to
assimilate 
into the US.  It appears to be a desire to establish a completely separate

culture and language within the borders of the US, in defiance of US law.

It is far more effective to display the American flag, and have protest 
signs in english.
