Im****tant article "NE: Intl. sit., Europe, M-L, '73" now in html form

by rolf.martens@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Rolf Martens) Jan 5, 2008 at 09:53 PM

At my homepage www.rolf-martens.com I've added today, under "News with
brief
comments":

Saturday, 05 January 2008 (NWBC 335) Im****tant article "NE: Intl. sit.,
Europe,
M-L, '73" now in html form

2008-01-05, 20:31 GMT:

In connection with a small ongoing debate, on a couple of mailing lists,
concerning what should be the correct approach for forces striving for
actually
Marxist-Leninist organization in the relatively more highly-developed,
capitalist/imperialist countries in Europe and North America, I'm making
an
article from 1973, which I think is im****tant and very relevant still
today,
available in more easily readable form. See my homepage's index page, date

05.01.2008.

The article was written by Klaus Sender (Hartmut Dicke), chairman of the
small
but at the time politically im****tant party in Germany the KPD/ML (NEUE
EINHEIT), actually here in Malmö, Sweden, where he was in exile because of

persecution in West Germany and Berlin(West) then. Its title in
translation is
"The International Situation, Europe and the Position of the
Marxist-Leninist
Parties". In English it was first published in the UK in 1976, something
in
which I was involved too.

It's no exaggeration to say that this article in its time actually to a
considerable degree changed the "political landscape" in Germany and even
in
some neighbouring countries. The present situation in Europe and in the
world
as a whole of course differs very much from that of 35 years ago, but
certain
elements and factors in that earlier situation remain in existence today.

The abovementioned small party was the only one (as far as I know), at
least in
Europe and North America, that also after the overthrow of socialism in
China
in 1976-78 continued to uphold consistently the correct political line of
Marx,
Lenin and Mao Zedong, which it did during several years at least. From
some
point or other in the 1980s on however it too degenerated and by 1990 had
turned completely bourgeois. (See several articles on this at my
homepage.)

The mailing lists on which the small debate I mentioned is taking place
are the
Modern Marxism list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/modern_marxism/,
created
by me in August 2007, and the list MLL at
http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/listinfo/marxist-leninist-list,
which
has
existed since several years back.
