Indians have always insisted that they are the oldest of cultures and
civilizations inhabiting this
planet.
They always beat their drums about having the first of scientists and
original thinkers.
Well, if that is really so, why is India in the present sorry state of
affairs? A culture or
civilization really so ancient would have been at the top of things by
now.
They would be dominating the scientific, cultural, commercial, economic,
technological and
political events of this planet.
Instead, they always come out as also-rans and have to depend on
other countries to do their thinking for them.
The consistent and inexhaustible effeminate nature of most Indians reveal
that they do not have the
guts to take on life itself.
A nation of over a billion people and they cannot even produce gold medal
winners at the Olympics?
The real problem is that most Indians, including those at the helm of
control, can only think about
and fantasize about the glory of yesterday.
To get ahead in the modern world one has to think and prepare not only for
today but for tomorrow
and the days to come too.
Basically India and Indians lack the guts to do so. They cannot do, they
only talk.
They talk big, achieve small.
Despite the apparent booming times in the outsourcing business, one can
very well be right if one
thinks that Indian culture (or cultures) do not have a real future.
They will be the perpetual whiners, not winners.
Unless they wake up and do something about it.
