Go to the rectory or call any parish and say you would like to talk to a
priest about becoming active again in the faith. Then set an appointment.
Priests are very busy, and you may have to wait a couple of days, but rest
assured, it is *not* that difficult to do, though you may be nervous.
You might want to prepare your soul to receive the sacrament of
Confession.
You can read up on it on the web. So you go prepared. and just tell the
priest where you are spiritually and where you want to be 3, 6, 12 months
from now. It is also a good time to tell him what your needs are as to
food,
shelter, etc. If they can't help you right away, they can refer you to
someone who can. The CC has a great network of charitable organizations.
Good luck!
