And, to judge from the descriptions I've seen, the skin baring was no
more or less crude, tasteless, and without redeeming value than the
rest of the performance.
Anyone who has a problem with milk producing glands being shown on
television should, by any rational and consistent argument, have
turned off the show in disgust well before the gratuitous nippleage
occurred. Likewise, if the network is to be believed when they say
they monitored the rehearsals closely and had no clue this was coming,
then they have denied complicity in showing bqqbies at the cost of
admitting to complicity in bringing us the rest of Janet and Justin's
vulgar act.
It's not as if there were a double standard in American society vis a
vis talking about / singing about / pantomiming *** versus showing
bodies, after all.
