I'm not nearly as good at this as Ralph is, but let me try my hand at
connecting these two phenomenon.
Bush is waging war to take Iraq's oil because he wants oil to be
cheaper. He wants it to be cheaper so he can increase air pollution
and accelerate the process of global warming.
Then, when the Earth is warmed radically in the aftermath, his
Halliburton cronies can get rich selling electricity for our air
conditioning.
