Um, the first stories hit the news on -- are you ready? MAY 5!!
yeah, SIX DAYS before your "breaking news" claim.

Um, no. But the original poster was pointing out the ratings from the
breaking election news. You know; the primary elections that could
make or break the careers of two politicians?

TUESDAY. The original post was about Tuesday DURING breaking news.

No, you proved that you can cut and paste ratings from nearly a week
after the cyclone hit.

Right. But Fox beat 'em, dammit.
By the way, you clown, doesn't the fact that MSNBC was running those
****y documentaries kinda hint to you that there WAS no breaking news
at that time? I mean, unless you call Alec Baldwin saying he might run
for office in a 60 minutes interview "breaking news.".. oh, wait...
you do...

You know, i think I figured out why journalism is so bad these days.
No one knows what news is.
Reha****ng the day's activities on the stump is not news. Vote tallies
is news.

No argument from me on that.

You still don't get the original point, do you?
When something is happening -- when there is BREAKING NEWS happening,
most people turn to CNN and MSNBC, NOT FOX! Yes, Fox has more viewers
than the other cable news networks most of the time, but that's
because there isn't much news on those news channels most of the time.
When there is a BREAKING NEWS story, people go to Fox LAST.
I'm not arguing that they are usually third. They're only third when
something im****tant happens, and people want to find out the details.
CNN's ratings quadruple, MSNBC's triple, and Fox's actually drop a
little.

Yeah. Okay.
