You know, I could almost live with some bias. In fact, I think this
whole concept of "objective journalism," whereby the press thinks that
showing both sides of an issue constitutes "objective," is for the
birds. How about just telling what happened. Sometimes, the truth is
biased, and that's okay.

What bothers me about Fox is the outright lies. They are a propaganda
arm of the far right, and their sole aim is to bull**** the electorate
into voting a certain way.

Put it this way; Thom Hartmann is biased as hell. BUT everything he
says is true and verifiable. OTOH, almost nothing Rush Limbaugh says
is true and verifiable. It's not Limbaugh's bias I object to. There's
a conservative (not a right winger; a conservative) on the radio in
Baltimore named Ron Smith; he comes from the right, and his point of
view infuriates me at times, but you know what? He's honest. He and I
don't see eye to eye on much, but I can't say that what he says is a
lie...

Bias isn't the problem. It's the lies.
