Anyone who owns stocks in grain commodities. Virtually none of it is
owned by governments. In fact governments purchase grain on the open
market
when they need it. Governments generally have no stockpiles of their own.
Stockpiles in the U.S. are on the order of 50 million bushels, and total
about 139 million tonnes world wide.
Now the question.
If there is famine as the KKKonservatives have claimed, and since there
is
139 million tonnes of grain available, why are Capitalists chosing to
perpetuate famine by refusing to sell the grain to those who are starving
at
a price they can afford?
