Supplementary to Synthesis 45,for general purpose.Mere feelings as a
criteria to sort out gays from hetero***uals would prove
impractical. For no one can fathom human feelings, and everyone can
simulate them. They could not anyway and really constitute the
yardstick of a system based on the rule of law.Nor do they have any
place or function in realpolitiks, except as factors of weakness to be
exploited.Genetics as related to ***ual orientation have yet,as of
this date,to be confirmed. As a method of differenciating individuals
they would anyway lie beyond the use of most individuals, who have
neither the tools or the funds to carry out genetic tests, nor the
scientific knowledge to interpret their results. In the context of a
gay independence movement which intends to be democratic, sorting out
gays from hetero***uals will have to be within the means and reach of
the average individual, and not merely within the ones of a tiny
elite, eve in scientific garb.Furthermore, genetic tests could yield
entirely theoretical characters whose behavior would belie their
genetic make up.Like genetic gays behaving entirely as hetero***uals
or vice versa.LGBT organisations can rest content with theoretical
gays and dwell in imaginary numbers. But a gay independence movement,as
well as a gay independent State, will need real acting gays. And
corresponding and precise population figures to *****s correctly
relations of power. And in the end to sort out the possible from the
utopia in politics.
Specific and observable acts could be retained as a method of
differenciating gays from hetero***uals. But mere tendencies would do
as well, provided that they are observable.Over periods of time, they
might even prove more reliable than isolated acts.
