I might be Johnny come lately here, but I found this cool website called
Newsmaps. It does several things. It maps the news and shows you how
many
related stories were printed either world wide on nationally or by global
region. It uses Google news as an engine. I think both libs and cons
will
find it interesting. What it does do though is show the liberal slant to
the news by showing you how many stories are pro lib and pro conservative.
I can't remember because it has been so long now since I stumbled upon it,
but I think somewhere on the site the web master even makes mention of the
sort of side affect of showing the disparity in the news media. Check it
out.
