liberals not racist???

by "John De Gennaro" <rhadts1@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 17, 2004 at 12:46 PM

What the **** are you talking about???????? Abraham Lincoln signed the
EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION YOU IDIOT!!!!!!! Historically.... for
generations???? Check your premises. George Wallace. It took the
National Guard to get black students passed his State Troopers and into
the
University of Alabama. This was simply a publicity stunt for the LIBERAL
south to make sure he was reelected because the LIBERAL SOUTH WAS
RACIST!!!!
It was the democrats that stood in the way (for about a decade) of blacks
being able to vote, and even then they wanted their vote to be counted
only
as a half a vote. It was the liberals that stood in the way of the Civil
Rights amendment See Below.

Amendment XIII

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a
punishment
for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist
within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by
appropriate
legislation.

It was President Johnson, under enormous pressure from the right that
signed the Civil Rights Amendment of 1964. The vote in the house went as
follows 290-130 Here are the numbers. It reflects the liberal south and
their racist mentality as well as the conservative south and their racist
bull****. BUT THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE.

61% of Democrats (152 for, 96 against) voted for the Civil Rights Act as
opposed to 80% of Republicans (138 for, 38 against). In the Senate, 69% of
Democrats (46 for, 21 against) voted for the Act while 82% of Republicans
did (27 for, 6 against). All southern Democrats voted against the Act.
