America is about to get its first black president.
After all but securing the Democratic Party's nomination yesterday,
Barack Obama is now unstoppable.
The Repuglicans and their white-racist-religious-fanatic base are
pinning their desperate hopes on septuagenarian John McCain,
but this will avail them not.
McCain is a know-nothing reactionary punk who has sailed through his
less-than-distinguished political career by virtue of having had his
ass kicked for years by the Vietnamese -- a fate, BTW, he richly
deserved.
Before this campaign is over, the senator from Illinois is going to
make old fool McCain wish he had never left the Hanoi Hilton.
Obama will be president, and a welcome new day will dawn for American
blacks, and all other good-hearted folks who love peace and justice.
