Fellow Texans, Texians, Tejanos and those who wanna be...
Im involved in a new political action group that has recently formed in
the
Schulenberg area. Texans For Independence is a non-profit political
action
group that wants to bring about political and financial soveregnty to
Texas
and the people of Texas.
The mission and purpose of the group is to bring public pressure on our
legislators in Austin (our servants) to re-affirm the 100% political,
legal,
financial and governmental sovereignty of Texas. This means no more
rampant
law-making by federal judges, no more federal income taxes levied on
Texans,
no more property Taxes to be collected from Texans, Texas will no longer
need to abide by the Commerce Act (means we can severely limit the
interest
rates charged by credit card issuers and out-of-state banks, etc. No more
federal meddling in our education system, etc. This is a very small sample
of the isues being acted on by the group.
If the above things are not achieved with our existing legislators, the
group wants to push for outright SECESSION from the U.S. by placing the
question on a ballot for vote by all Texans.
