Or indeed the probation service, who in this case let the victim out on
bail 
whilst awaiting court for a brutal rape that he committed whilst out out 
bail for a stabbing. It remains to be seen whether the man who killed him 
was acting on behalf of one of the victims of the dead man's crimes.
