Nuclear accident in Israel - A second Chernobyl !
Radioation leak at Israel's antiquated nuclear facility at Dimona.
Dangerous leak of radioactive material at the uranium processing plant.
At least 666 people have been exposed to high levels of radiation,
and about 6,000,000 (+/-23) people are remaining indoors,
waiting for word on when it will be safe to go outside,
and most probably to flee the country.
The Dimona plutonium processing facility is a
150 MW heavy water reactor.
Radiation levels skyrocketed near the plant,
where 13 people were seriously hurt, and
at least 666 others were contaminated by radiation.
The Israeli government and the IAEA have created
an emergency board for a mass evacuation of the people.
The Dimona nuclear facility is not under IAEA safeguards.
Israel is not a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
