I've gone over my memoirs and at least twenty times Old Japanese
turoku girls were assigned to me and keep tabs on my language
progresss, my apartment was broken in to for the sole purpose of
disabling my variable speed taprecorder which was intrumental in
psssing the Japanese securities salesman licensing exam. There were
numerous attempts to get me to drink enough to become an alcoholic,
and when I was ill and on a serious antibiotic, I was basically taken
from being an A student to a D student and the grades counted at my
home school in the U.S. Finally there was the forced marriage
between myself and darling Hiroko Oizumi, daughter of the Colonel in
charge of Japan's Counter- Intelligence effort. I developed a mental
inllness as a result of this and of course Colonel Katsumi Oizumi said
that I must adopt Japanese Citiizen****p to get treated by a Japanese
Doctor. It wasn't all bad....I co-wrote an academic article on the
Burakumin which is a classic, and except for a brief hiatus am back in
the saddle again. Japanese is not a difficult language, but the
interferrence
by the Japanese government makes it nearly impossibile to learn as a
civilian.
