Unresolved racial conflicts; rampant xenophobia and supremacist
nationalism; dispro****tionate political influence exercised by self-
serving cor****ations and too-often-intolerant minorities; primitive
employee rights; ghettoization and community segregationism; socially
highly-corrosive, and largely-unchallenged, "cultures" of verbal
abuse, violence, guns, gangs, drugs, underage-***, vanity, and
celebrity; Darwinian policy-making; extreme inequality; election
rigging and buying (even within a claustrophobically narrow political
spectrum); aggressively militaristic, almost imperialistic, foreign
policies, even backed by nuclear threats; police brutality, arbitrary
arrests, detention without trial, torture, extra-judicial killings
and
political assassinations; gung-ho, trigger-happy, sometimes seemingly
psychopathic, soldiers; and highly selective application,
domestically
and internationally, of ideals and values that the USA tries to
impose
on other countries.
Under the Bush/Cheney Neocon/PNAC regime, the United States is
undermining, perhaps even fatally, the human rights, humanitarian and
international law gains of the last 60 years.

Israeli Government Poised For Genocide Of Gazan Palestinians (O.I. up

Israel's Deputy Defence Minister, Matan Vilnai, has threatened
Palestinians in Gaza with a "bigger holocaust" in response to
militants' largely ineffective rocket fire. In the run-up to Israeli
elections that look set to bring Likud's Netanyahu to power,
threatening to forcibly remove all Palestinians (including Israeli-
Arabs) from Israel/OPT, PM Ehud Olmert seems to have decided to start
the genocide early in a desperate bid to cling onto power.
