....you have to pray. How many things have you asked God for lately?
At times in my life, I have realized that it had been days since I last
asked God for anything. The devil gets us convinced that God doesn't
want to be bothered with prayer. Does that sound like God. Jesus went
around asking what He could do, turning away no one. He told us to
pray for anything at all....anything. He promised to answer our
prayer. Are you doing it?
The book Prayer of Jabez that came out a few years ago had this as a
central message. I still use this book often to remind myself that God
is waiting for me to pray. I don't know if the sequel that is coming
out is as good as the first (perhaps someone could reply about it), but
it makes you think. Are you asking God for your needs? You may not
want to bother God with it, but what if God is bothered you are not
asking? What if He is waiting for you to pray? What do you want?
Tell Him.
