He made a political statement against one candidate in an election
from his website which is owned and operated by a 501(c)(3) non profit
organization
<Bill Keller Ministries Said Vote For Republican Presidential Candidate
< Mitt Romney Is Vote For Satan
<
<Americans United for Separation of Church and State has asked the

< Mitt Romney.

It had NOTHING to do with being a "church" or being a
"prayer ministry", and it wasn't just any old political statement.
If an organization wants that particular tax exemption, then it cannot
get involved in elections for political office. That's the LAW. It
has absolutely nothing to do with churches or religion, except that of
late it is certain spokespersons for churches that seem to be
violating that law.

Which the IRS will in fact do if they decide that his organization
violated the law. If his organization did not violate the law, then
his organization has nothing to worry about.
If you find AU saying some candidate is not fit for office, you can do
the same thing to them. But AU is smarter than that (and you and
Keller).
>Basically, they are scared to death of this site...
I doubt it.
