Experience with God - Day 9

by kands00@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (K C) Aug 4, 2004 at 06:21 AM

Do you take courage from the ways God has been faithful to you in the
past? By simply taking time to remember God's faithfulness, we can
inspire
faith for the future.

God was faithful throughout scripture. He parted sees, created water,
rained hailstones on enemies, healed the sick, provided a way for
salvation for the lost and gave light to the blind.

In your own life, God gave you life and blessings. I bet if you look
around you can find 10 things to praise God for in less than a
minute.....so why don't you do that more often?

So often, people want to judge God and justify themselves by
condemning the life giver, rather than praising the hand of providence
and seeking to please it. Where do you fall?

1 Kings 8:56-57
"Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel,
according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of
all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his
servant. The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let
him not leave us, nor forsake us…"

Psalms 18:29-30
"For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped
over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is
tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him."

Psalms 22:9-10
"But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope
when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon thee from the
womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly."

Psalms 34:22
"The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that
trust in him shall be desolate."

Psalms 37:25
"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous
forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

God has been faithful. God is faithful. God will be faithful.
