God is a careful gardener.
Psalms 1:1-3
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor
standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful. But his
delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day
and
night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth
forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he
doeth shall prosper."
God planted you with a purpose, just as He planted a weed to take in
carbon dioxide and give out oxygen.
Consider a plant. It doesn't get up and go walking around concerned
that the gardener will not water it. It doesn't shrivel up in worry
that the sun will not come out. No. A plant rests in the life it was
given and trust the creator to make other things work for their
benefit.
God knows how to care for what He creates. Trust in Him.
Psalms 92:12-14
"The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a
cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall
flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit
in old age;
they shall be fat and flouri****ng…"
Malachi 4:2
"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise
with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as
calves of the
stall."
Luke 12:27-28
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and
yet I
say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one
of these.
If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to
morrow is
cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little
faith?"
