Psalms 61:3-5
"For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the
enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the
covert of thy wings. Selah. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou
hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name."
God is our shelter and covering. Nothing can break through His
fortress.
2 Samuel 22:2-4
"And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my ****eld, and the horn
of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest
me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be
praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies."
Psalms 46:1-5
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though
the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters
thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the
swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall
make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the
most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God
shall help her, and that right early."
Psalms 144:2
"My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my
****eld, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me."
Proverbs 18:10
"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into
it, and is safe."
