-day 20-
Deuteronomy 32:39
"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill,
and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can
deliver out of my hand."
There is one God of life and death. Only one being decides if
something lives or dies. The devil doesn't have that power. People
don't have that power. We can all do things to move along the
decision, but, in the end, only God's will prevails.
Further, God is the giver of abundant life or living death. Your
measure of life in your life is up to how much you match your passions
with His purpose.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose
life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the
LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou
mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy
days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy
fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."
Trust in the Lord of Life and Death.
