I really dont know, dont care. Read Gibbon. He noted that in the first
century, Christians, appalled at the corruption of Rome, were convinced
Jesus would return in their lifetimes. They are still waiting....
Not that there has not been monumental disasters, like the eruption and
tsunami that destroyed Atlantis in the early 17th cent BC. Or- the Great
Flood of the Euxine lake in the mid 6th mil BC that gave rise to the
flood recorded in Gilgamesh, and then plagiarized in Genesis.
