Israel talks to Hamas every day, using Egypt as a go-between. We have
diplomatic relations with Syria. Why shouldn't we talk to them? Kerry
met with N. Vietnamese officials during the Paris Peace Talks between
the U.S. and North Vietnam. Is it your opinion that the US govt.
should refuse to talk to anyone we don't like? Is that your view of
enlightened foreign policy?
