The old Republican strategy: "My naive Liberal opponent has no concept of
reality. Now watch as I proceed to screw up every attempt at policy I make
and destroy everything you hold dear."
And then...
"You know, what my Liberal opponents have been suggesting for 20 years is
not a LIBERAL policy, but an American policy."
Green energy, the War in Iraq, non-food-based ethanol, it's like the
conservatives live 30 years behind the rest of us. Are they slow or just
clueless?
I have an idea. How about we cut to the damn chase and start electing
Liberals into office instead of waiting for Republicans to give us
permission to do what we were going to do anyway except completely
destroying our economy and our environment and our civil rights FIRST?"
