I suggest that "devil wor****ppers" or those who accuse CoS members of
wor****pping an anthropomorphic Devil read the chapter "What the Devil?"
Also, the fact that Satanists DO NOT "wor****p" a Devil is covered
explicitly in The Satanic Bible and in Dr. LaVey's other writings in
his own words.
As Dr. LaVey would say, "Satanism demands study and NOT wor****p." So
it would benefit all to read "The Satanic Bible" and his other writings
before making statements based upon hearsay or gossip.
I would also suggest that the devil wor****pping christians read the
chapter "Rebels without a cause" by Magus Peter Gilmore.

In Satanism there are only Satanists and NO spiritual believing "devil
wor****ppers".
Satanists are "carnal" while devil wor****ppers choose to be
"spiritual". Satanists are NOT "spiritual". Satanists are, basically,
skeptical epicurian athiests (I-theists) that use Satanism as a TOOL
and NOT a cause.
If being a devil wor****pper makes you happy then I suggest you remain
one if that is what makes you happy. Good for you! I suggest
following your own natural inclinations. If you do commit crimes as a
"devil wor****pper (NOT a Satanist)" then I hope by the Justice of Satan
you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
And if you are not comfortable with "Satan as a symbol" then it would
behoove you to just ignore the CoS and go about your own business. The
Church of Satan will not change for you or anyone else.
