  First it was WMDs but Cheney later admitted there were none but even 
had he known that at the time he still would have backed the invasion.
   Then it was mentioning Saddam and 9/11 together while being very 
careful never to claim there was any connection because,of course, there 
was none.
   Then it was freeing Iraq from torture of Saddam while ignoring the 
fact that Bush never mentioned this before 9/11 and never ignoring the 
fact that Reagan aided Saddam after the crimes that led to his execution 
took place.
