First of all we freed the USSR and China from communism, which is why
we have 3 billion capitalist competitors today, if you include India,
which was socialist before 1992. When we destroyed the economies of
Germany and Japan during WWII, we got 30 postwar years of prosperity
afterwards - because of lack of capitalist competition. The US is not
really threatened the way Israel is, so it can be more copacetic for a
while. Israel doesn't have the luxury of the US.
