The rule is: If a communist is currently popular, then he was a good 
communist in his own time. If he is currently unpopular, then he was a 
state capitalist. This solves a lot of sticky problems. These 
Communists in communist countries have nothing to say about it, of 
course, since armchair communists are the experts of our time...
