The poor editors of YNET (web edition of Israel=92s largest circulation
daily =93Yediot Aharonot=94) haven=92t been told that the current party
line=
is to present the Arab Jews as victims of discrimination and
persecution, whose property was seized by the Muslims, who were forced
to escape to Palestine as refugees, and whom Zionism helped to rebuild
their lives.
The unknown story of Yemen's Jews (with photos)

Hebrew
Note that the Jewish Agency=92s goal was not to compassionately rescue
Jews from European persecution and genocide, but to callously im****t
the human building blocks of the Zionist state.
Will the descendants of these Yemeni Jews now demand to return to
Yemen to escape their dead-end lives in Israel, and to make a fresh
start? I would sup****t that demand, but I don=92t=92 expect it will be
forthcoming in the foreseeable future.
We should be confronting the current Zionist propaganda campaign head
on, and affirming the right of return of the Palestine refugees.
Peace activists and pro-democracy activists in Israel should be taking
the lead in demanding recognition of refugee rights and, thus, drawing
a clear line between themselves and Bush-Olmert-Barak-Netanyahu-
Lieberman-Beilin.
